Mr. Tourtellotte’s practice is primarily in the area of taxation matters administered by the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts. Mr. Tourtellotte’s experience includes employment as an auditor, an audit trainer and an attorney with the Comptroller of Public Accounts. Mr. Tourtellotte has practiced in this area since 1979 and has extensive litigation experience in both state taxation and insurance defense.

Mr. Tourtellotte is a member of the Comptroller Liaison Committee to the Texas Bar Association and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants Liaison Committee to the Comptroller’s Office. He has published numerous articles in the area of state taxation. Mr. Tourtellotte is Board Certified in Administrative Law and Personal Injury Trial Law. He is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Fraud Examiner.
