Election Law
Hance Scarborough’s Litigation Section’s election law practice began when it was selected to serve as trial counsel in lawsuits receiving international media coverage filed in the wake of the 2002 Texas election cycle. In the course of that representation, the Litigation Section developed extensive knowledge of State and Federal election laws, application of constitutional law to political activity, and administrative rules, regulations and advisory opinions. The Litigation Section represents and counsels corporations, political committees, section 527 organizations, and individuals in this volatile and contentious area of the law.
