Mr. Tourtellotte received his B.B.A. in Accounting and Economics from Southwestern University in
Georgetown in 1978. In 1984, he received his law degree and M.B.A. from Texas Tech University.
Mr. Tourtellotte was admitted to practice law in Texas in 1984. He was also admitted as a Certified
Public Accountant in Texas in 1984.
Mr. Tourtellotte's practice is primarily in the area of taxation matters administered by the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts.
Mr. Tourtellotte's experience includes employment as an auditor, an audit trainer and an attorney with the Comptroller of Public
Accounts. Mr. Tourtellotte has practiced in this area since 1979 and has extensive litigation experience in both state taxation and

Mr. Tourtellotte is a member of the Comptroller Liaison Committee to the Texas Bar Association and the Texas Society of Certified
Public Accountants Liaison Committee to the Comptroller's Office. He has published numerous articles in the area of state taxation.
Mr. Tourtellotte is Board Certified in Administrative Law and Personal Injury Trial Law. He is a Certified Public Accountant and
Certified Fraud Examiner.
